This course covers the New Testament in its entirety, from the silent years between the Testaments to the Book of Revelation. It provides an overview of each of the New Testament books, focusing on the main themes of each.
A study of the Bible’s first five books, focusing on the creation of the world and the evolution of mankind into the nation of Israel. An introduction to the Old Testament, an overview of early biblical society, and detailed summaries of each of Moses’ Five Books are included in the course.
This course examines the historical and cultural contexts of the New Testament, focusing on how they influenced the New Testament peoples. It describes what happened in history between the books of Malachi and Matthew. A look at the lives of the Twelve Disciples, the six periods of Jewish history, Greek and Roman political backgrounds, and a section for maps and charts are among the course’s major themes.
This course focuses on Bible prophecies. Old Testament prophecies and other prophetic messages are defined and outlined. It provides insight into the prophets’ personalities, lives, and ministries. The course goes on to talk about prophecies that have yet to come true.

New online foundation year certificate: grow in god’s word

These courses provide a solid foundation in theological education and Christian service preparation. The Certificate can be completed in one year (full-time) or two years (part-time) and is available in both full-time and flexible part-time formats (part-time). The Diploma should be completed in two years (full-time) or four years (part-time) (part-time).
Throughout our programs, we try to use a variety of assessment methods. Individual tutorials, on-site visits, group discussions, and written and oral feedback on essays are examples of formative (non-credit bearing) assessment. Research essays, case studies, group projects, individual projects, placement assessment (portfolios, reflections), book reviews, and a limited number of module exams are examples of summative (credit-bearing) assessments.
The Diploma of Higher Education in Theology: Youth Ministry is for those who want to be prepared for youth ministry but don’t want to pursue a full degree with national recognition. Graduates have gone on to work as youth workers in churches.

You may be interested in the Certificate in Theology. This program, which is offered in cooperation with the Montreal School of Theology, entails the completion of ten (30 credit) courses, including core courses in the following areas:
Students must also complete four elective courses (12 credits) in areas such as Reformed Worship, Reformed Tradition, Congregational Leadership, Congregational Mission, or other areas. These courses also meet core M.Div. degree requirements for students who decide to enroll in the M.Div. program before completing the Certificate in Theology.
An examination of the Christian spiritual tradition, its evolution, and how various practices from it can aid in the development of lives rooted in prayer, self-awareness, and discernment in our contemporary context. (From September 11 to December 4, 2019, a webinar course will be offered on Wednesday evenings.) Rev. Dr. Holly Ratcliffe is the instructor.
This course considers key moments in the history of mission, the realities of congregational mission, and the challenges of contextual outreach in a broad sense. (In the Winter term, an online course held on a weekday evening.) Faculty from the Montreal School of Theology collaborated to teach this course.

Have you been looking for a “free theology school near me”? It can be difficult to locate free theology programs in your area. There are, however, a number of free online theology courses available. Accredited colleges, private businesses, and Christian seminaries all offer these courses. Some people take a secular approach to religion, while others take a Christian approach. Although these institutions do not offer free online ministry degrees or theology certificate programs, the courses can be applied to a variety of fields.
The University of California – Irvine offers free theology classes through its UCI Open program. In addition to religious studies courses, UCI Open offers a wide range of other classes on a variety of subjects. UCI is not a religious university; rather, it takes an anthropological approach to religion.
Utah State University is a good place to start if you want to take religious education classes online. Students from all over the world participate in the school’s free online courses, which began in 2013. Because Utah State is not a religious institution, its course offerings are not exclusively Christian.
