In August 2011, the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University was authorized by the Idaho State Board of Education to offer a K-12 Online Teaching Endorsement program. How to earn online teaching certificate in idaho

The Traditional Certification Path The College of Education offers degrees and certification programs that are intended to meet Idaho State Board of Education and Idaho State Department of Education standards and requirements for initial certification of professional school employees.
All people recommended for certification are kept on file at the College of Education. If such recommendation would appear to be contrary to or in violation of Idaho Code Sections 33-1202 and/or 33-1208, the Dean and faculty of the College of Education reserve the right to refuse to recommend a program completer for a standard teaching certificate.
Through approved application packets and individualized Alternative Path plans, the COE offers the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) as an alternative route to certification.
