For the first time, ZIF arranged a virtual and tailored training and coaching program for members of the new EEAS Pool of mediators from October 12 to 22 in collaboration with the European External Action Service (EEAS).
For two weeks, 20 invited high-level EU diplomats met daily online with internationally renowned mediation experts to practice and discuss specific instruments and subjects of peace mediation in interactive and participatory formats, including process design, conflict analysis, communication strategies, transitional justice, and inclusivity.
The perspectives of the highly experienced participants in their various working contexts around the world were supplemented by the mediation experts’ input. The certificate program provided a safe space for peer-to-peer exchange and collegial consultation on peace mediation issues in a structured yet informal setting.

We inspect all existing Victorian swimming pools and spas as part of the mandatory pool barrier inspection requirements. If your pool/spa barrier complies with Victoria’s pool fencing rules, you will be given a certificate on the spot.
A pool must be safe and have limited access at all times, not just during the day, according to Victorian regulations. The only way to ensure that a pool is always safe is to install permanent pool fencing.
Every state in Australia has its own set of rules, but the fundamental principles remain the same. The same safety principles underpin pool fencing rules in Victoria, which apply to all Victorian towns and cities, including Melbourne.
