The Landscape Architecture Certificate program at UCLA Extension was established in 1977 and is intended for working professionals with at least a bachelor’s degree. It’s a three-year program that prepares students to work in the field of landscape architecture once they’ve completed it.
The Landscape Architecture Certificate program is intended to provide students with a solid understanding of the discipline’s design, technical, and theoretical aspects. The curriculum is organized into three sections: design, technical, and breadth. The program’s goal is to bring these three areas together into a single body of knowledge, so that each segment can be understood in the context of the others.
