How to fly for free – student pilot or private pilot
You can fly to your destination while enjoying friendly, award-winning service and a comfortable leather seat with the most legroom in coach with this prize. Each Travel Certificate is good for one roundtrip flight between any two cities that are listed on www.jetblue.com as nonstop destinations.
Bidders should base their decision to bid and the amount of their bid on their own examination of the item(s) in question. The price reflects the estimated value of the item(s) in any purchase or sale. The bidder hereby assumes all valuation risks associated with any and all purchases.
After you’ve created an account, you’ll see the lot details, sale terms, and standard shipping and redemption information. After you’ve signed the Terms of Sale, you can start bidding on that particular lot. The Conditions of Sale for that lot govern all bids placed on that lot.
A bidder’s bid(s) entered by mistake are not grounds for cancellation of that bid. Each bidder is in charge of their own account and bids. Furthermore, granting access to someone who enters a bid without your knowledge is not grounds for a bid cancellation.
Redeem a travel certificate
A JetBlue Challenge Golf Tournament gave my husband and me two JetBlue travel certificates. They are suitable for round-trip travel between any two cities. They will be phased out on January 26, 2016. My question is whether or not anyone has had any success in extending the expiration dates for these types of travel certificates. My husband and I want to travel in April 2016, but we’d rather change our plans than let our certificates expire without being used! Thank you very much!
So, there’s good news! My husband contacted the person in charge of the JetBlue Challenge Golf Tournaments, and he was extremely understanding of our predicament. He is going to give us two new travel certificates with a July 2016 expiration date. All we had to do was scan the ones we already had and send them back to him, and the reissued ones would arrive. JetBlue, you rock!! Thank you very much! 🙂

When you cancel a JetBlue flight, the refund is credited to your Travel Bank account, if you are eligible. This is basically a one-year holding account for the value of canceled flights. Within a year, you can use these credits to book a new flight.
On paper, this appears to be a straightforward concept: funds accumulate and can be redeemed for flights at a later date. However, in practice, the procedure is a little more complex. TPG readers have contacted the Points and Miles team to express their frustrations with locating Travel Bank funds and using them to book flights.
