How to design a custom certificate in google slides

If you don’t have a lot of free time to design your certificates, don’t worry. Choose a template from the list above to get started with the process. Look through the list until you find something that interests you. When you click on the template preview, you can immediately begin editing it. Don’t be worried if you change your mind or are dissatisfied with the outcome. At any time, you can start over with a new template. There are a plethora of subjects from which to choose. When you choose one of them, the interface will apply the theme to your project. There’s a certificate design for almost any situation. There’s something for every situation, whether you’re certifying a skill or recognizing the completion of an educational course.

How to create a certificate in google slides

Our first task is to double-check that the Certificate dimensions are correct. For my certificate, I’d like to print it on A4 paper in landscape orientation, which measures 29.721.0 (11.69′′8.27′′ inches).
Go to File > Page Setup to do so. A dropdown box will appear in a popup window. Choose Custom. This will give you some number input boxes where you can enter your dimensions. It also allows you to choose your preferred measurement. I’ll use centimetres here, but feel free to use inches if that’s more your style.
A right-hand sidebar will appear, with the most recent images listed first. You’ll be able to find your border here if you’ve just uploaded it. After that, all you have to do is click and drag the photograph onto the slide.
The border may not yet fit perfectly, as you can see in the picture above. By dragging the chosen image down, we can change the boundary. Simply leave a little space around the edges of the page to allow the printer to correctly print your border.
Once you’ve found the right size for your border, you can move and change it by clicking on the entire picture. As you move the picture around to modify it, you’ll notice red centring points appear. This will greatly assist you in placing your picture in the center of your page.

The template gallery is divided into two sections: general and templates specific to your company. To see templates in the public gallery, go to General. To make a new file, select a template. It will be saved to your My Drive automatically. You can rename the Doc, Sheet, Slide, or Form to suit your needs, and then customize the template to your heart’s content!
