Community and transitional education

The nationally accredited Certificate IV in Community Services will assist you in establishing a career in Australia’s fastest growing industry as a community services worker. Learn skills that can be used in a variety of areas in the community services industry, including alcohol and other drugs, child protection, juvenile justice, mental health, and more, and assist your clients in achieving their objectives.
The Certificate III is an entry-level qualification that provides a solid foundation for learning more about the industry. However, job opportunities for workers at this level are limited, and most are junior positions under the supervision of others.
You may want to continue on to the Diploma, which will give you specialized community service skills. You will then work independently as a case worker or case manager under the supervision of senior management. Although you can enroll in the Diploma without first completing the Certificate IV, the Certificate IV solidifies your foundation knowledge and prepares you for success in the Diploma.
