Orleans 2-Monroe The BOCES Center for Workforce Development (CWD) is pleased to offer a variety of continuing education certificate programs that are perfect for working adults who are starting a new career, considering a career change, honing their current skills, or pursuing a passion.
A Certificate Program is a series of continuing education courses taught by industry experts that provide in-depth research. Our continuing education certificate programs are designed to align with industry-accepted qualifications, accreditation examinations, or state-mandated continuing education requirements. The continuing education classes are more flexible and less rigorous than traditional university degree programs, are offered part-time, and are noncredit-bearing courses with no prerequisites. All of the programs are focused courses of study that can be completed in a short amount of time, allowing people to explore personal and professional growth opportunities.

Lewis-St. Lawrence BOCES is an acronym for “Board of Adult Education will refund $62 of the $100 course fee to any student who drops an online course after enrollment but before completion and documents his or her disappointment with the course in writing.
The majority of GES programs take 90 to 180 days to complete. Adult Education has a policy of working with students until they are able to complete their program because our programs are self-paced. We are happy to accommodate students who need additional time. If a student is unable to continue their training for any reason, we will make arrangements for them to take time off and complete their course when it is most convenient for them. The only time we can issue a refund is if we failed to deliver. If the student is unable to complete their program due to our error, we will issue a full refund. A student is not entitled to a refund if they simply want to withdraw and refuse to accept our policy of deferring their training. Due to the fact that students receive all materials and full access to their entire course upon registration, partial refunds are not possible. There are no refunds once the course has been accessed, either by requesting materials or watching lessons, according to the GES policy.
