In a one-year intensive program, students are prepared for jobs as biotechnology technicians in the region’s molecular biology-based businesses and institutions. The Biotechnology program at Henry Ford College is unique in that its curriculum is based on the technological and workplace competencies defined by Southeastern Michigan’s biotechnology employers.
HFC’s Biotechnology program combines real-world experience, training in modern instrumentation and new technologies, and rigorous science content to create flexible technicians who can adapt to changing workplace conditions.
